This is what I learned from my interview with Mr. Vineet Aggarwal, Director of Kayson Wheels.His first exposure to business was after he completed his graduation in 1988.He entered the business with a rosy picture of luxury but soon learned that business wasn't a roller coaster ride and you need nerves of steel to survive it. He tried to make changes but business is often bitterly opposed to any change that requires additional investment but with patience and careful planning to cope with problems in advance he worked hard with perseverance .He took his turnover from Rs 1 crore to 50 crores (till date).
A successful business man does nothing to increase his popularity b ut is only careful with money.Mr Vineet's success mantra is a thorough analysis of sales and production plans. there should be no compromise in quality and upgradation of products is necessary with new techniques.
The way to success is facing challenges, interacting with customers and giving full benefits to your employees.The main base of business is to understand it and define your targets and achieve it with fair play. You can aim high with good vision.
The cycle industry also went through a rough phase, when the recent rapid growth of industry in some cases has been so excessive that too much manufacturing capacity has been developed in the field of production which forces companies to sell their surplus products in world markets at lower prices than normal. But quality always wins, so any amount of imported articles does not deter us. Quality always conquers quantity.
Recession has been good to them as with people cutting cost have cut expenses and from cars and bikes have come to bicycles and by this their sales picked up.
His advise to all upcoming recruits is to have lots of patience, do hard work for experience and join job for exposure to problems and last words which he said was
"To be successful you have to enjoy doing your best while at the same time contributing to something beyond yourself."
